Day 1 : Marrakech– High Atlas Mountains– Ait Benhadou– Ouarzazate– Dades Valley

The first day of our 4 Days Marrakech to Fes desert tour, you will meet your guide at your accommodation or anywhere in Marrakech in the morning and start the trip. You will start driving through the High Atlas Mountains to reach the highest road, Tizi n Tishka, which is about 2260m high, where you will stop to enjoy the stunning views of the winding roads and valleys. Afterwards, you will continue to reach Ait Benhadou village around midday, you will have tour to visit this ancient Kasbah (Fortified village) that is dating back to 11^th century and recognized as world heritage by Unesco as an example of southern Moroccan architecture of mud houses, in addition to being a filming location for Game Of Thrones and Gladiator. After the tour, you may have lunch here or at the next stop, Ouarzazate. After lunch, you will stop in front of Atlas Studios where several movies were filmed, such as The Mommy, Prince of Persia. Here you decide if you are interested to visit or just take a picture from the outside where there are fake pharaohs statues. Later on, you continue towards Dades valley by driving through Rose Valley where you may stop to get rose products if you are interested, and then continue to arrive at the hotel in late afternoon.

Day 2 : Dades Valley- Todra Gorge- Sahara Desert

On the second day of our desert tour, you will start towards the Sahara Desert after breakfast; you will start your journey by stopping at the rock formation in Dades Valley, known locally as Monkey Toes. After some nice pictures, you continue to reach Tinghir and its impressive Todra Valley and Gorges. You will have a refreshing walk through the narrow tall cliffs of the gorges then keep driving to this old underground irrigation system in the area called El Khettarat you will explore and know more about how water is saved in the desert. Afterwards, you continue this Marrakech to Fes tour to reach Merzouga Desert. Upon Arrival, you put on your scarf and get ready for the adventure. You ride camels through the dunes to the middle where you stop to enjoy the beautiful sunset then hop on your camels again to reach the desert camp. You will be welcomed with a cup of tea then show you your tents. After dinner, local Berbers will entertain you drumming music around the bonfire under the stars, then you will enjoy the silence of the desert.

Day 3: Sahara desert 4×4 Tour

On this day, we recommend to wake up early to watch the sunrise near the camp. After breakfast, you start our desert tour to discover the area of Merzouga Desert by a 4wd, you start by visiting the fossils area, then you continue to visit the nomadic families and learn about their lifestyle that is all based on their cattle. will have a cup of tea with them then head towards Mifiss mines; an old coal mine that was operating during the 1900s by French companies. Afterwards, we stop by Khamlia; a small village inhabited by people originally from sub-Saharan countries and known for their Gnaoua Music. They will perform their own music along with African dances. You have lunch in the village with the typical dish of the area “Berber Pizza”. In the afternoon, you will drive to the hotel at the edge of the dune where you will have some free time.

Day 4: Sahara Desert – Ziz Valley- Ifrane- Fes

After breakfast, you will start your journey to Fes. On your way, you stop at Ziz Velley which offers a great view of Ziz River full of palm trees and continue towards Fes. You stop somewhere for lunch based on when you want to have it then keep on and stop at cedar forests where you can see some apes in their natural habitat, then stop at Ifrane that is nicknamed as Switzerland of Morocco where to have a short walk in this European looking town. Continue to reach Fes in late afternoon, you will be dropped at your accommodation or anywhere in Fes and our 4 days Marrakech to Fes comes to its end.
