Day 1:Arrival in Casablanca
Your guide will meet you at Casablanca airport and drive to your hotel for a rest. If your arrival time is in the morning, you will visit Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca.
Day 2 : Casablanca – Rabat – Chefchaouen
On the second day of our Morocco Tour from Casablanca, we will be traveling from Casablanca to Rabat, visit the old fortress Kasbah Oudayas, Hassan Tower, and Mohamed V Mausoleum. After lunch, we will drive to Chefchaouen where to spend the second night of our tour.
Day 3: Chefchaouen
You have a free day to discover the town of Chefchaouen. Suggestions to visit are the blue alleyways and the Spanish mosque which is an ideal spot to see the sunset.
-It is also possible to take a day trip to Akchour waterfalls on this day (optional )
Day 4: Meknes – Volubilis – Fes
After your breakfast at the hotel, our journey starts towards Volubilis, Passing by Ouazzane and other Rif villages. In Volubilis, we will visit the Roman ruins and learn about this archeological site and its history. Afterward, we will leave for Meknes, a city with a 17th-century heritage. We will stop here for lunch and hang out at the historical huge walls of the medina, Bab el Mansour and enjoy a visit to Moulay Ismail s shrine, Later on, we will drive to Fes where we will spend the night.
Day 5: Fes Sightseeing
On 5th day of our tour from Casablanca, you will begin a guided tour of the Medina of Fes by going to the Royale Palace Gate, the Chouara Tanneries, Al Qaraoiyine University, and any other locations that the guide recommends taking you to based on your interests and the available time. Spend the night at one of the Riads located in Medina.
Day 6: Fes – Ifrane – Cedar Forest – Sahara Desert
After breakfast, we start our journey from Fes to the Sahara Desert. We’ll be spending the better part of the day making our way through picturesque forests, mountains, and Berber communities as we make our way over the Middle Atlas Mountains after a hearty breakfast. We’ll stop in Ifrane, also known as the “Switzerland of Morocco,” before continuing on mountain roads with views of the gushing Oued Ziz and on to Erg Chebbi via a variety of kasbahs and palm groves. We’ll begin our camel ride to the desert camp as soon as you arrive, stopping in the middle of the golden sand dunes so you can take in the breathtaking sunset before continuing on to the camp where you’ll spend the night. After dinner, we’ll sit around the fire and play some traditional music on the drums while gazing at the stars.
Day 7: Sahara Desert 4×4 Tour
On this day, getting up early to view the sunrise close to the camp is something that we highly recommend doing. After breakfast, you will begin your desert tour by riding in a four-wheel drive vehicle to explore the region of the Merzouga Desert. You will begin by going to an area with fossils, and then you will continue on to visit nomadic families and learn about their way of life, which is centered on their cattle. shall have a cup of tea with them before moving on to the Mifiss mines, which are historic coal mine that was run by French firms during the 1900s. Following that, we make a pit stop in Khamlia, which is a small community populated by people who are originally from places in sub-Saharan Africa and are famous for their Gnaoua Music. They will showcase dances from Africa in addition to their own original music. You enjoy lunch in the village, which consists of “Berber Pizza,” a cuisine that is traditional to the region. After lunch, you will get in your car and go to the hotel that is located on the dune’s edge.
Day 8: Sahara Desert – Rissani – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley
After breakfast at the hotel, we drive towards Rissani which is one of the oldest towns in the area, we will visit its authentic traditional market. We will make a stop at the underground irrigation system known in the area as El Khottarat. And then we drive to Todra gorges where we have lunch, afterward, we will have a walk through the marvelous canyons. In the afternoon we will drive to Dades valley where we will stop for the scenic landscapes. Then we check into our hotel overlooking the valley.
Day 9: Dades Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Benhaddou – Marrakech
On the 9th day of our 12 days tour from Casablanca, we’ll head out of Dades Valley in the direction of Rose Valley. After that, continue driving along the route that is lined with thousands of kasbahs, where you will have numerous opportunities to shoot some of the most memorable photographs of the trip. We’ll make a pit stop in Rose Town, which is famous for the festival that takes place there every May. We will proceed to Ouarzazate, also known as the “Hollywood of Africa,” which is home to the most prominent film studios in the nation. In the afternoon, we will travel to the well-known Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, which is a Unesco world heritage site and a former filming location for a large number of films from over the world ( Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia, Games of Thrones…). We will end our day at your hotel or riad in Marrakech after passing via the spectacular Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2260m), which is located over the High Atlas Mountains. Here, we will enjoy the unique Berber Villages.
Day 10: Marrakech Sightseeing
We will have a guided tour of Marrakech’s old Medina, including Jemaa Elfna Square, Koutoubia Mosque ( outside), Saadian Tombs, Bahia Palace, and Ben Youssef Madrassa. After Lunch, you will have time to wander the Souks on your own. If you are interested to visit YSL Garden, your driver is at your disposal to drive you to the new city. Overnight in Marrakech.
Day 11: Day Trip to Essaouira OR Ourika Valley, or leisure day in Marrakech
On day 11 of our Morocco Tour from Casablanca, our guests have the opportunity to choose wether they want to take a day trip to Essaouira, Ourika Valley, or just have leisure time in Marrakech for relaxing and shopping.
Day 12: Transfer to the Airport
Our 12 days tour from Casablanca ends with transferring you to the airport and wishing you a safe trip home.
