Day 1 : Marrakech– High Atlas Mountains– Ait Benhadou– Ouarzazate– Dades Valley

The first day of 3 days desert tour from Marrakech starts by meeting your guide at your accommodation or anywhere of your choice in Marrakech. You start driving through the High Atlas mountains, admiring the beautiful views of the valleys and Berber Villages where you can make a stop whenever you like to capture any of the scenic landscapes. Your driver guide will pick the most beautiful spots where you can take nice pictures; one of them should be on the highest road in the country, Tizi N Tishka, where you get to see the beautiful winding roads through the mountains. At noon you will arrive at the historical village, Kasbah Ait Benhadou where you will stop for a visit to one of the oldest and well preserved mud villages in the southern Morocco, it is also registered as a world heritage by Unesco and been a filming location for Game Of Thrones and Gladiator as well as other movies. The next stop will be Ouarzazate where you will stop to visit Atlas Studios where various popular movies were filmed such as The Mommy, Prince Of Persia …etc. If you are interested to take a guided tour inside the studios, you can. If not you can just take photos from the outside and continue towards Ddaes Valley. On your way there you may have a stop at Rose valley, and then continue to your hotel overlooking the valley.

Day 2 : Dades Valley- Todra Gorge- Sahara Desert

The second day of our desert tour from Marrakech starts after breakfast. You drive to Todra Valley where you can view breathtaking green oasis through the dry hills, your driver will stop in the best places for pictures.  Then continue to have a walk in Todra gorge, narrow tall cliffs that reach 300 meters and known for rock climbing. Afterwards, you drive towards Merzouga Desert, but first you will stop for lunch in one of the few restaurants on your way, in addition to visiting an old underground irrigation system in the desert that brings water from the hills to the fields only by gravity.

 Finally you will head directly to the desert, where you will find your camels waiting for you. You will start a camel ride through the golden sand dunes of Erg Chebbi to reach the camp where you will spend an unforgettable night. You will have a stop in the middle of the desert in order to see the beautiful sunset then continue to the camp. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed with Moroccan mint tea, then a fabulous dinner. After dinner, the staff will entertain you with traditional drumming music while sitting around the bonfire watching the stars

Day 3: Sahara Desert – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

Getting up early is recommended if you want to watch an amazing sunrise on a dune around the camp. After breakfast, you ride the camels to get back to meet your driver or you can take 4WD from the camp. And then start your journey towards Marrakech. On your way, your driver will make some few stops for rest and one stop for lunch probably in Ouarzazate. And then drive across the High Atlas Mountains to reach Marrakech in the evening or around sunset. Drop you off at your accommodation in Marrakech where our 3 days desert tour from Marrakech ends.
