Day 1 : Marrakech- High Atlas Mountains- Ait Benhadou- Ouarzazate

The first day of our 4 Days Marrakech desert tour, you will meet your guide at your accommodation or anywhere in Marrakech in the morning and start the trip. You will start driving through the High Atlas Mountains to reach the highest road, Tizi n Tishka, which is about 2260m high, where you will stop to enjoy the stunning views of the winding roads and valleys. Afterwards, you will continue to reach Ait Benhadou village around midday, you will have tour to visit this ancient Kasbah (Fortified village) that is dating back to 11^th century and recognized as world heritage by Unesco as an example of southern Moroccan architecture of mud houses, in addition to being a filming location for Game Of Thrones and Gladiator. After the tour, you may have lunch here or at the next stop, Ouarzazate. After lunch, you will stop in front of Atlas Studios where several movies were filmed, such as The Mommy, Prince of Persia. Here you decide if you are interested to visit or just take a picture from the outside where there are artificial pharaohs’ statues. Later on, you continue to your hotel in Ouarzazte.

Day 2 : Ouarzazte- Draa Valley – Rissani- Sahara Desert

After breakfast, you leave Ouarzazate and drive through along Draa Valley; the longest river and biggest valley of date palms in the country You will continue to reach Rissani Market; the most authentic market in the area which take place on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday If none of these was the day of your visit, you will be back, the next day. In this ancient market, you will observe and explore how local people live and make their living from locally grown vegetables, handicrafts and cattle. Later on, you continue to Merzouga Desert where you can rest for a while and have a cup of tea before you start a camel ride towards the desert camp. On your way, you will stop at the middle of the dunes where you can watch the most beautiful sunset then continue to reach the camp after sunset. You will be welcomed with a cup of tea then you will have your fancy tents equipped with privates bathroom and shower. After dinner, you will gather around the bonfire of the camp, and local Berbers will play traditional music with drums. You will have time afterwards to enjoy the silence of the desert and watch the stars.

Day 3: Sahara Desert- Erfoud- Todra Gorge – Dades Valley

The 3^rd day of 4 days desert tour from Marrakech starts with an early morning wake up in order to watch the sunrise and enjoy your time around the camp to take photos then have breakfast at the camp and get back by camels or 4wd to main road and head towards Erfoud; a small town at the side of Ziz River, known for its production of dates and excavation for fossils. You will pay a visit to one of the factories here marble that contain fossils of different ocean animals is turned into useful goods and house furniture, also you get to know more about the different ages and their impact on the morphology of the area. Later on, you continue to visit one of the oldest and smartest irrigation systems in the world called Khettarat; it is a underground canal that brings water from the mother well to the fields by gravity only. Afterwards, you continue to Todra Valley and Gorges where to enjoy refreshing walk through the narrow tall cliffs. Later on, we continue to Dades Valley where you will be staying in a hotel overlooking the valley.

Day 4: Dades Valley- Amridil –High Atlas – Marrakech

After breakfast, you start your journey towards Marrakech, the 4 days desert tour from Marrakech takes you to Rose Valley and Skoura palm groves where you stop to visit Amridil Kasbah; a 17^th century balding that is still owned by the descendent of the founder and now operated as museum where you can learn more about the life in Kasbah of the rich people in the south. After a guided tour in this Kasbah, you continue to Ouarzazate, and then drive across the High Atlas Mountains to Marrakech. Arrive to Marrakech late afternoon where our 4 days Marrakech desert tour ends.
