Day 1 : Casablanca – Rabat – Meknes – Voulubilis – Fes

Your private desert tour from Casablanca starts with your driver picking you up from your Casablanca hotel. We’ll then visit the main cultural attraction, Hassan II Mosque, before driving to Rabat, where we’ll also do a short city tour, visiting Oudayas Kasbah and Hassan Tower. We’ll next travel through Meknes and Volubilis to Fes, where we’ll spend the night in a riad/hotel.

Day 2: Fes Sightseeing

We’ll start the day by touring Morocco’s oldest city, weaving through its alleys and narrow streets. We’ll start our tour at the Royal Palace entrance, then move on to the Jewish quarter, where the first Mellah was established in Morocco in the 16th century. We will make certain that you visit all cultural and historical places, including the prestigious Al Qaraouine University. the region’s oldest. The Tanneries,  and the Moulay Idriss mausoleum will also be visited. After lunch, you’ll tour many cooperatives before enjoying a breathtaking panoramic view of Fes’ Medina before retiring for the night to your Riad.

Day 3: Fes – Ifrane – Cedar Forest – Sahara Desert

After breakfast, we start our journey to the Sahara Desert. We’ll be spending the better part of the day making our way through picturesque forests, mountains, and Berber villages as we make our way over the Middle Atlas Mountains. We’ll stop in Ifrane, also known as the “Little Switzerland” before continuing on mountain roads with views of the gushing Oued Ziz and on to Erg Chebbi via a variety of kasbahs and palm groves. We’ll begin our camel ride to the desert camp as soon as you arrive, stopping in the middle of the golden sand dunes so you can take in the breathtaking sunset before continuing on to the camp where you’ll spend the night. After dinner, we’ll sit around the fire and play some traditional music on the drums while gazing at the stars.

Day 4: Sahara Desert – Rissani – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley

Getting up early is highly recommended if you want to catch the beautiful sunrise. After breakfast, we’ll travel through Rissani market and Tinghir to Todra Gorge, Morocco’s tallest and narrowest gorge. Then we will make it to Dades Valley, stopping to admire the geological formation known as “Monkey Toes” by the locals. We’ll spend the night in a hotel in Dades Valley, which includes dinner and breakfast the next morning.

Day 5: Dades Valley –  Ouarzazate – Ait Bnehaddou – Marrakech

Our private tour continues with a drive towards Kalaat Mgouna and Ouarzazate, recognized as “the African Hollywood”. Here, we may visit the local film studio and Kasbah (Fortress). We’ll then head to Ait Ben Haddou, to visit the local Kasbah, the largest Kasbah in Morocco and a UNESCO world heritage site. We’ll continue over the High Atlas Mountains until we reach Marrakesh where we’ll drop you at your accommodation at; End of our 5 days tour from Casablanca.
